Located in the beautiful rural hamlet of East Fortune, near North Berwick and only 20 miles from the historic city of Edinburgh. East Fortune Farm offers a great location for a holiday whether you are staying in our Luxury Holiday Cottage No. 8 or getting out and about in your caravan or motorhome and staying on one of our impeccably maintained sites. Our award winning 5 pitch Certificated Location (CL) is open all year and requires booking in advance, essentially in peak season. Station Park Caravan Site (a commercial 15 pitch) is our latest development at East Fortune and opened in 2010.
East Lothian has been a very popular holiday destination since Victorian times with guests drawn to the lovely towns and villages, the fantastic golden beaches and the golfer's paradise of excellent golf courses. North Berwick is only 5 miles away and fits the classic seaside resort formula — vibrant and busy in summer, relatively peaceful out of season.
Due to high demand and increased popularity we have decided to expand our touring pitches at East Fortune and our new development Station Park is a 15 pitch commercial touring site which we were delighted to open in July 2010. Station Park is over an acre in size with open views across the countryside towards North Berwick Law.
The facilities are very similar on both sites but not shared as the sites are some distance apart. Station Park also has separate access through the farm yard. Please note own sanitation is required as there are no toilet blocks or showers on either sites. Read more ...
East Fortune CL was delighted in 2004 to be announced as a regional winner in the annual Caravan Club CL of the year awards and after only being open for 2 years. Now in our 8th year we are a very popular CL and have many visitors returning weekend after weekend or year after year. Our luxury holiday cottage can accommodate 6 guests plus cot and is furnished to be both comfortable and modern. Each bedroom can be arranged as superking or twin, with the master bedroom having en-suite facilities. As very keen self-catering holidaymakers ourselves we feel No.8 is of the highest standard and from testimonials from prior guests, No.8 is a cottage you’ll love and want to come back to over and over again. In 2010 a small flock of pedigree Hampshire Down ewes was established at East Fortune Farm being very particular in the ewes selected from other breeders. Currently the flock is 16, made up of 7 lambs from 2010 and 9 ewes. In just a year we have bred some fine Hampshire’s, some of which we intend to show at various shows in the future. Read more ...
East Lothian boasts a magnificent coastline of beaches, golf courses, enchanting villages, museums, galleries and historic attractions plus East Lothian also enjoys more hours of sunshine than anywhere else in Scotland which makes it a popular destination for holidays and weekend breaks.
